The Columbus Clingstones, the Atlanta Braves’ Double-A team, are home that day against the Montgomery Biscuits at Synovus Park, the last game of a June 15-20 homestand, according to the team’s 2027 schedule announcement. Two military museums are open that Sunday afternoon.

Synovus Park is at 100 Fourth St. The 2027 schedule lists Father’s Day among the season’s notable home dates. Game time, gates and promotions are not out yet; they will be on the Clingstones’ schedule page.

Museums open on Sunday

National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center, 1775 Legacy Way: free admission with a suggested donation; open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. It has a Giant Screen Theater and virtual reality combat simulators (museum site).
National Civil War Naval Museum, 1002 Victory Drive: open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission is charged; children 6 and under are free (museum site).
Coca-Cola Space Science Center, 701 Front Ave., is closed Sundays; go Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (center site).

Car shows

No Columbus car show has been announced for Father’s Day weekend. In 2026 the Columbus Civic Center, 400 Fourth St., hosted the Spring Fest Car Show on March 28 and the 3rd Annual Tri-City Mega Car Show on Aug. 15, with custom, classic and exotic cars inside the arena and in the parking lot (Visit Columbus events calendar).
