How the scores work
Georgia scores food service inspections out of 100, deducting points for each violation, with extra deductions for repeat violations, and assigns a grade, as described in the state’s environmental health FAQs:
| Grade | Score |
|---|---|
| A | 90 to 100 |
| B | 80 to 89 |
| C | 70 to 79 |
| U (unsatisfactory) | 69 or less |
A score reflects one visit. Each report lists the code items the inspector found out of compliance, and the database keeps earlier reports, including any follow-up inspection. Read the full report to see what the inspector found.
