Every Columbus, Georgia, where-to-eat list in one place: wings, pizza, Mexican, barbecue, breakfast, burgers, Asian, desserts, bakeries and patios.

Last checked Oct. 6, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Columbus eats in two places. Uptown has most of the independent restaurants, on Broadway, Bay Avenue and 12th and 13th streets, with MidCity Yards a short drive east. The north side has the shopping-center restaurants and chains, on Veterans Parkway, Whittlesey Boulevard around Columbus Park Crossing, Manchester Expressway and Bradley Park Drive. Macon Road, Milgen Road, Victory Drive and South Lumpkin Road fill in the rest.

How we made these lists. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Columbus city limits, the same data behind our local business directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 6, 2026. Places we added from the Georgia Department of Public Health inspection database, the Columbus Park Crossing directory and Banks Food Hall’s site are kept only where the place’s own site, or a 2026 state inspection record, confirms a Columbus location. Every list is alphabetical. None is a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on any of them. Run a restaurant? Write to us to correct or add your entry.

Where to get wings covers 23 places: wing shops on Macon Road, Victory Drive, St. Marys Road and Airport Thruway, Buffalo Wild Wings and three Wingstop stores, and Angry Wings at Banks Food Hall in Uptown.

Where to get pizza lists 26 pizza places, from Your Pie and The Pizza Place on Broadway to Cerrone’s on Veterans Parkway and the delivery chains.

Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants lists 33 places, from sit-down restaurants on Veterans Parkway and Manchester Expressway to taquerias on South Lumpkin Road, Forrest Road and Broadway.

Where to get barbecue lists 14 places, including three Country’s Barbecue restaurants, Moe’s Original BBQ at MidCity Yards and smaller pits on River Road.

Breakfast and coffee lists 38 breakfast restaurants, independent coffee shops in Uptown and Midtown, and the coffee and breakfast chains.

Where to get burgers lists 40 burger places, from The Black Cow in Uptown to the drive-thrus on every main road.

Sushi and Asian restaurants lists 40 sushi, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean and Indian restaurants.

Ice cream and desserts lists 11 shops for ice cream, frozen yogurt, Italian ice, chocolate and Bundt cakes, most on Broadway or near Whittlesey Boulevard.

Bakeries lists 15 doughnut shops, cake studios, panaderias and bakery cafes.

Patios and outdoor dining lists seven restaurants whose own sites describe a patio, deck or outdoor seating, most of them in Uptown. A review or a listing-site photo of a patio is not enough to be included.

Many places on these lists have no website of their own, or a site that would not load for us. Those are confirmed through the state’s restaurant inspection records instead, and their hours are marked “Not listed” instead of being copied from a third-party listing. Call before you go, and check our inspection scores page for each kitchen’s latest result.
